Lots of good memories... my first game was before they closed in the outfield...said it would cut down on the wind if they enclosed the field...NOT!! Went to one night game in July 1976 where I was glad I brought my winter coat!!! There were only 3000 of us toughing it out that night to watch the Astros in their ugly rainbow striped jerseys!! Oh yeah...seats right behind home plate!! Went to another game later that summer sitting right next to the bullpen...had a good look at John D'Aquisto! Last day of 1991 when the Giants were playing the Dodgers and we watched on the Jumbotron that Atlanta had eliminated the Dodgers by winning...the whole place erupted with Giants fans doing the tomahawk chop!!! (btw...we did it much better than the Braves fans!) Saw Dave Dravecky get honored with his own day in 1989 after losing his arm to cancer...not a dry eye in the house...and of course, we were playing the Dodgers so they didn't stand a chance.
