Re: Re:
It was a great game indeed
Fantastic Third period !!!!!!!
I didn't think we were going to win but I liked the way they were playing so I kept watching and I am glad I did.
Congrats to Jumbo who I have been hard on in the past for what I thought were lackluster effort in past postseason years but you can't fault the heart this guy has after what he did for us last year.

Re:
RedAssG ... maybe I am overly optimistic about the Wings these days. They are 0-5-1 in their last six and they have scored seven goals in that stretch.

Re: Re:
ha ha
I have been saying for years that this will be the year that Detroit finally falls apart and they just keep churning out successful season after another. LOL
I was convinced that once Lidstrom goes that will be it but now I don't even know if that will lead to their collapse.
The most impressive run by a sports team I have seen in my 19 years of watching it.

Re: Re:
I think your team is finally losing that consistant sharp edge that they have had throughout all these years.
They just don't look the same.
The sharks didn't even really play that well tonight and still won easily.
5 straight wins against the Wings hasn't been done in over a decade.
Thats impressive along with all their other amazing feats over the years.

Re: Re:
Even though it's just another early season game-- If not for BYCO I would be celebrating this win a lot more.
In fact, I don't even have the heart to talk about the specifics of the win.
Damnit Byco, why do you have to be a fan of one of the few teams we really love to see the Sharks beat?
It's just not nearly as satisfying when we truly respect one of their fans.
Fact is, other than the one jackwad Wings fan I ran into at the Tank during Game 7 of the post season Sharks-Wings series last year, I've never even met a truly dislikable Detroit fan -- of any of the Motor city's franchises.
Whereas, I only "know" one NY Rangers fan-- and he's been enough of a CONSTANT jackwad to make me wish the Rangers would get tossed out of the NHL forever.

Re:
Allright you fukers (sic) enough is enough. Who wants to go?
Ironically, my business partner is in SF shooting footage for me and I'm in Det shooting footage for him. Go figure. Otherwise, I'm there last night witnessing the Wings tank.
Maybe it's better after all that I remained here.
WIngs lapse on the PP in the last minute and stand still at the end of the first. Zetterberg finds the pads of a Shark to trigger a 3-1 and that was it.

Re: Re:
NICE win.
Outplayed for most of the game, but thanks to Niemi-- Sharks WIN.
Congrats to Antti on his first shutout in Teal this season.
Picked a good game to do it, Sharks win in regulation 1-0 over his former team, the Blackhawks.
