first time at the park
Im an east coaster coming out to a game for the first time and am excited. I was hoping to get some good ideas for where to hang for the pre game or post game bars or spots where fans go! any help would be great...

There's a couple of bars near by.
There's the 21st amendment which is packed and Momo's across from the park. There is a newer bar Pete's Tavern that I don't think would be as full as one poster has been there before a game. Those would be the same places to go post game as well. There's also Zeke's which is a few more blocks away that has fans there before a game and probably after too.
Hope this helps. After a win the bars are more packed I think. If it's a loss probably not as many people. I'm only assuming as I don't really go to the bars before or after a game.
--- Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.
