AT&T Demographics (by accrostic from main MB)

Oracle Suites - Your a Bay Area big wig or an associate of one who got lucky enough to get the suite. Only place at AT&T that you can sit that has a sponsor from a software company based in
Rocklin, CA Your just at the park to talk investments and hope to see Barry hit one out.

Premium Field Club - You've got a lot of money and spare time on your hands. Very few die hards left in this area. Many corporate reps and company season tickets. Few diehards are becoming soft because of the constant bombardment by soft Barry Bonds onlookers.

Field Club - A few more well off die hards still in this area. They gather around the bullpen mostly and are the fans that can heckle opposing pitchers. Other people lucky enough to be in this area are those who rarely get to a game and spend a few extra dollars on the double play ticket window to get a good seat.

Club Infield - Powder Puff Giants fans that just like to ,"go to the ballpark"looking to "See Bonds hit one and hope the giants win" They spend a huge amount of money getting food delivered to their seats, even though thy just spend more time on their PSP or phone then watching the game.

Club Outfield - Quite a few corporate seats mostly given to lower level employees who are lucky to get them twice a year. Also a few real fans mixed in but generally are filled with people who spend more time at the food stand then watching the game.

Premium Lower Box - Besides the few seats near the field few people think of these are "premium" as many are up under the overhang and out of the sun. and away from the action. Still many casual Paul E. Anna love to sit here because they are Premium and they enjoy watching the Giants lose 2-1 and caliming the offense is still "pretty good"

Lower Box - Finally you reach an area where there is better mix of die hard fans. However fans in this area have been driven to other areas of hte ballpark due to the high prices. Still some frequent this area and many gather together and heckle pitchers warming up.
View Box * - Poor Die hard fans that think they are better than most and deserve to sit in the Club Level but hadn't the money to splurge for them. Some families mixed in here out for a sunny day at the park.

View Reserve - This is where you find the true die hards and fans of many years. Many times risking their jobs to attend the game. They frequent the games only as much as they can afford bringing the young lads to the park for the experience. Everyone here complains about how they have no leg room and that in the Club level where they had sat once that you can walk in front of someone sitting without hte need to stand. Fans often chatter about Marvin Bernard and ooo-reeee-bayyy among other things

Arcade - Suprising number of season tickets are here. Tend to be Grumpy fans that have watched too many HR balls sail over their heads. Also, if you sit more than 4 rows back you have a shortened view of RF and a blind spot in the Right Center corner. You wonder why you continue to buy these seats and you remeber that you can always claim you were at the game when Bonds did this and Bonds did that.

Left Field Bleacher - Some reals fans here. Enjoy pretty good views of the field. Frequent arguements break out among unregistered Paul E. Anna's and Order Members before moms step in to cool things down because the language becomes unsuitable for children in the section. Mostly a poor crowd that also lends them to many young kids who frequently boycott the wave.

Center Field Bleacher - A lot of families here because the ticket prices remain lower and the father refuses to sit in the View reserved. I quiet section mostly. A few large men sit interspersed jawing remarks at the center fielder. Most families feel the gentleman is being to liud and obnoxious and many a game fathers confront the loud mouth only to accomplish nothing and improve the man's volume level in his direction.

SRO - Fans who wanted to buy tickets at the box office but got there too late and didn't want to be in View Reserved. Scalped around for good tickets but the scalpers wanted 4 times the price for bleachers and the game started in 10 minutes. They decide to settle for these and then complain throughout the game because they have to stand the whole game and Americans are incapapble of standing for 3 straight hours

Additions? Subtractions? This is sad emoticon that our team is so boring that I resorted to this. But fun none the less.

Cool read!

1) pretty accurate in my opinion, although anytime you paint broad brush strokes you are bound to have exceptions

2) I thought you didnt' live around here?? (LOL)

3) The demographics can change from game to game
Especially for Dodger games, the whole stadium is usually more hardcore...even premium field club....

4) I am a holder in Premium Lower Box and there are pockets of Hardcore and Loud fans (eg around section 110 row 23-30 is pretty cool)

Premium Lower Box - as many are up under the overhang

Actually, premium lower box does not include any seats under the overhang

It goes from section 105-126, up to row 30
105,106,125,126 start at row 1
107-124 start at row 23

Row 31 is the row where the overhang starts (give or take a row)

SRO: The seasoned SRO ticket holder tends to relax at a few different places on the promenade level:

-designated viewing areas around home plate
-(when not blocked off) the arcade when Barry's up
-the railing @ the Coke bottle
-the cable car

But most of all, the SRO fan that isn't interested in walking around the park anymore tends to stand above the bleacher section of their preference. When they've determined that some real estate isn't going to be used, they go ahead and claim it until someone else says otherwise.

LOL! Merkin. I lived in Rocklin, CA. Plus I lived in Alameda before that. I live in Texas now. I am going to a game in Aug probably the 6th.

I was just generalizing of course. so there will be some die hards everywhere. Funny Part is I haven't been to a game this season but from every game I have been since Pac Bell opened it had been that way. I have sat in all these locations pretty much except the oracle suites.
