Sausage Review #7 California Grill Polish Kielbasa

Name: California Grill 1/2 Pound Polish Kielbasa
Price: $[sign in to see URL]
Location: California Grill ABOVE Lefty O'Doul Gate stairs behind section 102 on Promenade Level
Condiments: Peppers and Onions
Cooked: Grilled and Drowned
Size: VERY LARGE
Detail:
OH MY GOD THATS THE SIZE OF MY FOREARM....
Smells GREAT.... WOW LOOKS LIKE SAUSAGE HEAVEN...
Well Looks can be decieving....
First of all, they grill the sausage, but they keep it warm in WATER? or BROTH?...
Well whatever it is, its Black [sign in to see URL]... I guess thats ok.....
The Bread was a little stiff, but not [sign in to see URL] sesame [sign in to see URL] it was SOAKING WET from the "BROTH" of the [sign in to see URL] I am sure you know... wet bread= not good
The onions and [sign in to see URL] AS THE [sign in to see URL] musta been in their own brine liquid....
The Sausage itself was not bad... The texture was good, the skin broke freely and the meat crumbled with the marbled texture expected from a Kielbasa.
The first bite had liquid seep out, which at first felt like grease, but I soon realized was also due to the "Broth"
The meat flavor was good, but the Kielbasa spices were muted by sausage soaking in the liquid.
Even with the flaws of the liquid, it was still a good piece of meat, and the size was ridiculous.
Positive Points for Presentation, and Size
Major minus points for the soggy factor.

I prefer the Evergood Kielbasa anyday of the week (see review #3)

Overall Rating: 2 1/2 out of 5 Blocked Arteries

I want to get a couple autos if possible but won't be mad if i don't especially since Bonds never signs. i hope i can get Lowry's or see him pitch, maybe both!! plus we will be at the A's game sunday, zito vs lowry would be great!!

Gates open 2 hours before the game
Usually food is served 1 hour to 45 min prior to game
I will be coming from work, so I wont get there until almost game time
We have some time, and I still have projects im working on
I will get you a map to food =D

Noah is one of the most common Autos to get
He's good about that

I've never done it, but you might be able to "stalk" the players parking lot behind the LF wall.... probably before the game is best

Ask Hankola and Jason4CYyoung
They are big time auto hounds
