Re: UMPIRES WHO YOU HATE! I don't know his name but the !@#$ who called time and then balked in a run for the Rockies against Timmy.
And the entire crew from that homestand against the Dodgers late in the season last year. Every single shitty call in that series went against our guys, culminating in the safe call at 1st base costing Timmy the win, when the guy was about 2 steps away from the bag.
I remember Wotus got tossed for that as Bochy had already been sent packing earlier in the game.

Mark Patrick Wegner (born March 4, 1972 in Saint Paul, Minnesota) is an umpire in Major League Baseball who is in Crew B, where Dale Scott is the crew chief. Also in Crew B are Jerry Meals and Dan Iassogna. He has worked in the National League in 1998-1999, and throughout both major leagues since 2000. He has umpired in the Division Series in 2003, 2004 and 2005; the 2007 National League Championship Series; and the 2008 All-Star Game. Wegner wears uniform number 47.
Wegner is known for his charity work, being involved in church activities and BLUE for kids, an charity founded by fellow MLB umpires Mike DiMuro and Marvin Hudson.
At 5 feet, 8 inches, Wegner (along with Jerry Meals, who is also 5'8)is the shortest umpire in Major League Baseball.
On June 2, 2007, Wegner ejected Chicago Cubs manager Lou Piniella for arguing a call at third base. Piniella responded by throwing his cap down, kicking his cap, and kicking dirt at Wegner, before the two were finally separated by two other umpires. Piniella was suspended for four games, the longest suspension of his career.
On May 20th, 2010 after a heated exchange with Giants player Juan Uribe, Wegner grabbed his crotch, which was aired live on television.

Sorry if this is below is just too many pics to wade through, but I found it relevant that there are so many players and managers who are getting themselves tossed over Wegner's strike zone and other calls.

Mark Wegner (7-1-1) - Double digit run production and double digits in walks has become old hat for MLB betting fans that are constantly watching games that Wegner is umpiring. He has given at least ten free passes in five straight games, all of which have ultimately had at least ten runs cross the dish as well. A strike ratio of 60.7 percent is awfully low, while 9.3 walks per game are almost off the charts high. Keep a close eye out to see if this continues for Wegner in the future.
A paltry strike ratio with lots of walks in comparison to his peers seems to point to a guy who is somewhat clueless behind the plate. Then when the strike zone expands at a critical point of the game, and the hitters get pissed, coupled with an umpire who apparently has a Napoleon complex, it is not surprising we get what happened last night. Stand by, as there is surely more to come, and if you bet, take the over when MW is behind the plate. "
Re: UMPIRES WHO YOU HATE! Can't believe no one has mentioned "Balkin'" Bob Davidson. Hands down, absolutely THE WORST umpire in baseball, and maybe in all of professional sports. No one complicates the game more than BD. I guarantee you an anonymous poll of players and managers would rank him at the top of any crappy ump list.
MLB already tried to get rid of BD back during the ump strike several years ago. He was one of the ringleaders of the strike and was out of the bigs for a couple seasons. But he still has influential friends in the ump union and was granted another major league job, much to the dismay of MLB.
Please remember this post the next time you're watching a game and see Bob Davidson is umpiring and pay close attention.
