GAME WEDNESDAY 04-26-06 vs NEW YORK METS

GAMEBALL and JERK of the GAME
WEDNESDAY 4/27 vs NEW YORK METS L 7-9
GAMEBALL brought to you by www.rascalscooter.com
BARRY BONDSemoticon
Image
Look who’s back from the dead.
Using his brand new Rascal Scooter, Barry Lamar Bonds came to the plate in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out down by 2 runs.
With one swing of his sword, Bonds vanquished the FIRE BREATHING LEFTY.... Billy Wagner, and drew the Giants even.
Although the Giants would lose in the 11th, the Giants , and their supporters now know that His MAJESTY, of The KING of Baseball still reigns.

Tip of the cap to
WILLIE RANDOLPH
DAMNED if you DO, DAMNED if you DON’T
After being stung twice by Intentional walks to Bonds in the first game of the series, Willie was not going to bring the winning run to the plate in the form of Lance Niekro. Rational move by Willie you say? Sure, but the rest of the league has been irrational all year...
Good job showing some guts Willie.

RANDY WINN
Snapped his 0 for 20 cold spell with a 2 hit day... Randy can’t afford too many of those streaks with Finley, Ellison, Alou, Bonds, and Sweeney on the team

ARMANDO BENITEZ
UGLY outing by Armando, but it WAS two scoreless innings.
But the real reason you are listed here? You hit 94 MPH on the gun a few times....NOW go EARN your MONEY!

JERK OF THE GAME
BULLPENemoticon
Image
Stop me if you heard this before....
Giants Bullpen Blows the game.....
NEW YEAR......NEW FACES.....SAME RESULTS.......
Is it the cool bay breeze???
Is it the French Vanilla Uniforms???
Is it the Rice a Roni???
Well whatever it is, its contagious.
Today the last three members of the Giants bullpen that haven’t blown chunks all year, take their turn as the villains.
Kline, Worrell, and Munter.....great.... now EVERYTIME the bullpen phone rings, we get HIVES

Smack of the Stick to
SABEAN and DURHAM
If I see Vizcaino’s name in the lineup for the FOURTH time in a row ..... I’m driving to Fresno and picking Frandsen up myself!!! Ever wonder what happens if Vizquel, Feliz, or Vizcaino need to come out of the game????
Don’t think about it.. you’ll hurt yourself.....

Please feel free to post lineups or comment on the game below.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

Hey G12

Actually, I read yours first =)
Figured you were experiencing the game first hand... So I'd go with yours....

I read the boxscore/ play by play and watched the last few innings on Tivo....

Not gonna lie to yu, i have been waiting for an opportunity to use that spanking smiley icon, hahaha.

Yeah Benitez may be returning to form. Wild idea...the Red Sox hve made oulke a middle reliever and Timlin is their main setup guy with Pappelbon as their new closer. Think we could make a move for Foulke, I truly do not think it would take much to get him either.

Hmmmm Foukle.... old Giant farmhand.....
Probably wouldnt take too much, and we can use the insurance with Benitez and Worrell both shaky, and the Kids still green and wild.....

Not a bad idea.......wonder what we would give up!

 emoticon <-- my fav

Don't know but i think his injuries last year were an anamole(spelling*). But if we are ever going to make a move for a reliever, I say Foulke. emoticon I like this one too for some reason.

I think his landing knee is shot pretty good.
They were talking about how he gets aritificial "knee juice" like Schilling

But I don't follow AL as much as NL.. so I dunno.....
