Doesnt look like they give these away anymore...

Dear Merkin,

Your San Francisco Giants are suited up and ready to start the 2006 season at home in our beautiful AT&T Park! I wanted to, personally, welcome you back and share some information with you regarding the annual festivities that accompany this grand event! Other important information is highlighted here that will allow you to enjoy the beginning of Giants baseball season to its fullest!

Something's different around here!

When you come to the game tomorrow, don't be surprised if you notice that your ballpark has taken on a new look and feel! There have been improvements and refreshing changes made throughout the park but the ones you might notice immediately include the 225 new HD flat screen TVs added throughout the park, new concessions added in key locations to extend the wide range of food and beverage options available to fans on the Promenade Level, creation of a new elevated deck above Lefty O'Doul Plaza featuring a new bar and barbeque that overlook McCovey Cove, the Juan Marichal Statue and the historic Lefty O'Doul Bridge, and state-of-the-art LED fascia boards providing entertainment and information, just to name a few. For a rundown of all the new things you'll see, taste, hear and experience this year, click on the link below:

Opening Day, 2006

Your San Francisco Giants home opener is tomorrow, Thursday, April 6th when we host the Atlanta Braves. Parking lots will open at 9:00 AM; gates to the ballpark open at 11:00 AM. First pitch is at 1:05 PM but you'll want to arrive early to get your AT&T Opening Day calendar and MLB poster on the way to your seats! Don't miss the pre-game Rawlings Gold Glove award presentations to Mike Matheny and Omar Vizquel. Survivors of the 1906 Earthquake will throw out the first pitch and Chris Botti will provide the music to our National Anthem, and you'll be treated to a military fly-over and some fireworks! Then the real fun begins! Play ball!

Opening Night and Opening Week

Opening Night is special at AT&T Park - it's Fireworks Night! It's also the return of ORANGE FRIDAYS!!! So come out for the first night game of the season and "get your orange on!" First pitch is at 7:15 PM.

Saturday's game is a 1:05 start and Toyota Magnet Schedules will be given to the first 20,000 fans, so come out early! Fans aged 14 and under will receive a Giants player magnet.

Kids' Opening Day will be celebrated with a growth chart giveaway to the first 7500 kids 14 and under at Sunday's game. We'll have face painters, balloon artists and jugglers roaming the ballpark, autographs will be given by players pre-game, and kids run the bases post-game!

Go Barry!

Every time Barry hits a home run here at AT&T Park, bring your game ticket from that game to the Giants Dugout Store to receive a special sticker!

Giants Aren't Afraid of A Little Water!

The wet weather should be long gone by now (someone tell the Weather Channel!) but in the event that a Giants home game is called due to rain, please keep your game ticket to use for admittance to the rescheduled game. You must have your original game ticket in order to attend any rescheduled game. Keep in mind that we will always make every effort to play the game!

Please note that the Fourth Street Bridge will continue to be closed through this season. Third Street is open but construction continues in the area, so please drive with caution.

Enjoy this action-packed, fun-filled Opening Week for the 2006 season of Your San Francisco Giants!

Its RARE now....

Even if they said
"Bring a ticket and pay $5, it would be worth it"

They charge for LOTS of pins during the season. I paid $8 for my opening day pin.....

the pins in the store are $5.43 inside the store, but at the park inside the park it's a little more. The stores inside have the prices higher because tax is suppose to be included. honestly..i'd rather go to the dugout store to buy it.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.
