Winning on Sunday
Hey All,
I've got to say that nothing beats getting a win on Sunday...it puts a positive spin on the end of the weekend, and gives me a reason to smile going into the office on Monday.
Beating Wheeler yesterday was just icing on the cupcake...the kid is probably going to win a lot of games. I just hope none of them come against the Giants.
So thanks, Giants, for making a lot of my Mondays a whole lot better in 2014!

Re:
you know you have it good when you're bitching about an out made at third by Blanco who was one of the "heroes" on Sunday.
Can't believe he ran that stop sign by Flannery and was out by a long shot.
Sunday was good. Got a good burn from being out on the sun. not complaining though.

Yeah, Gregor's legs weren't quite as long as he thought, but I love the fact he's taken the uppercut out of his swing, and is not displaying line to line flare power.
I guess the only concern I've got is that the club continues to make defensive errors, and continues to be susceptible to being burned by strong, aggressive base runners. It was nice to see Timmy actually paying attention to a base runner yesterday.

Nice...I got singed on the edges yesterday while digging grass and weeds out of my tomato garden. I guarantee you had more fun getting your burn.

Re: Winning on Sunday
So your post got me thinking to Sundays being the game I so rarely miss of the week and how they seem to have gone great this year, and it was even better than I thought. 9 in a row with the only Sunday loss being the first of the year against the Dodgers. Day of the week stuff is silly, but Sunday baseball is the best.

Re: Winning on Sunday
Hey All,
Boy, talk about a NON-WINNING Sunday...the crapstone of a 3 game set where the Giants blew leads in the 9th.
As Roger Craig would say...my dauber's been in the dirt since Sunday afternoon's game...and now we've got a day off to savor the feeling.
UGH! I need videos of puppies and kittens doing exceedingly cute things...or Tommy Lasorda doing something really stupid.

Re: Winning on Sunday
Hey All,
Oh, boy...talk about a Sunday when the Giants could really USE a win...and a complete game...and no mental errors...and no injuries...
C'mon, Giants...give old Chimps a reason to smile on Monday morning!
