5/9/2014 GIANTS @ Dodgers Gameball and Jerk

The Giants Beat LA 3-1 again.
There was the unfortunate news of Belt getting his left thumb broken by a pitch from Paul Maholm, which may lead him to be out for six weeks. Belt has started to have a breakout season, so we can only hope that he can return as soon as possible.
The Giants have the second-best record in Baseball, and they are six percentage points behind the Tigers.

Bumgarner had by-far his best start of the season, as he struck out eight over eight innings, while giving up just a run.
He also became the first ballplayer in his right mind to let Mr. Puig know what he thought of him.
Bumgarner is the closest thing to Randy Johnson, a tall, hard-throwing, sidearm lefty, who's not afraid to let others know what he thinks of them.

TIP OF THE CAP: emoticon

Brandon Crawford: Craw had a pair of hits tonight, one which was a home run.

Brandon Belt: This is going to hurt. Belt has begun to have a breakout season, and now he's heading to the disabled list. I really have to give it to him, because he desperately wanted to stay in the game to run the bases, which he did.

Angel Pagan: Beautiful catch against Puig in the ninth!

Sergio Romo: Who pitched a 1-2-3 ninth, making him a perfect 12-for-12 in save opportunities.

I've handed out the jerk to someone twice this season, and Puig has got it both times, what a shock.
As a journalist, I try to be as professional as I can, but Puig is by-far the most unprofessional player I've ever seen.
Every time he gets a strike called on him, he throws a hissy fit, and what happened between him and Bumgarner is not going to die. As I said last night, Puig is asking for it, and by the end of the year, he will get it.
Can you imagine what would happen if he pulled these antics against a team that Ty Cobb was on. If Puig played first base in Cobb's day, Cobb would lay a nice bunt down the first base line and spike Puig as he attempts to pick up the ball.

Pablo: We saw him struggle in 2010 and last year when he was morbidly obese, but neither year compares to what he's done this year. He's hitting .171, and we're just a about a quarter of the way through the season.

Will Little: Yes, he tossed Mattingly, but his zone was quite brutal.
