4/13/2014 Rockies @ GIANTS Gameball and Joker

What a game!
We're just two weeks into the season, and we have already seen a lot of drama and memorable moments. Today was great, and winning 5-4 in 10 innings is a nice way to go into a series against the Dodgers.

GAMEBALL:

It's obvious. Unless the starting pitcher throws a no-hitter, the guy who hits the walk-off home run gets the gameball. When I saw the ball in the air, I thought that couldn't be Crawford hitting one like that, but it was, and he got the second walk-off splash hit in AT&T Park's history. Of course the other was when Barry Bonds hit one off Ray King of the Braves, which I believe was his only career hit off King.

TIP OF THE CAP: emoticon

Tim Hudson: He tired towards the end, but he was still great today. He has made three starts, and he has yet to issue a walk.

Pablo: Finally! He started hitting, as he almost hit one into the cove in the sixth inning.

Angel Pagan: Who remains white-hot at the plate. He knocked in a pair of runs and gave the Giants the lead with his hit in the fifth.

Gregor Blanco: We almost saw another walk-off inside-the-park home run, but he didn't have enough steam to make it all the way home.

JOKER:

One Brandon got the gameball, and another is getting the joker.
What's with his sudden slump? He was on fire to begin the season, and how he has gone 2-for-17 in his last four games. Step it up, Brandon!

SMACK OF THE STICK: emoticon

Javier Lopez: He faced one batter, and he wasn't able to do his job, as that one batter was Drew Stubbs who tied the game with a single.

Flag pole: It it wasn't for that damn thing in the arcade, we would've seen two splash hits today.
