Pounded the strike zone? Sounds like Krukow's slurping to me.

Watch Timmeh pitch. Watch where Posey's glove sets up before Timmeh throws, then watch where he catches it. His pitches are at least a FOOT off-target 80% of the time. One of his strikeouts, Posey got up out of his crouch and set his target around the batter's shoulders... and caught the pitch at his KNEES, right down the middle of the plate.

It's better to be lucky than good. Go Timmeh!

True.
Even in his heyday he was effectively wild.
( Including both in and out of the zone)

According to whazzisface, the whazztheirfaces manager, Timmy's location/command problems have been compounded by the loss of his velocity.
He said that batters no longer have to fish, as they can see the ball far better now, and thus take walks or wait for the fat, mistake pitch.
*Generally speaking* --Pretty much all his pitches are mistake pitches in terms of their ending up somewhere other than intended.
He's now always either effectively wild or ineffectively wild. Its never the occasional mistake, nor the "always intentionally hitting" of the spot when he does hit a good spot.
It's just a matter of where that spot is, relative to the batters strengths or weaknesses, and how often he hits it, that determines his fate each start.

I can shorten it even more:

It's crap.

(And yet I still have hope. Go Timmah!)

Re:

He either walks the guy or strikes him out or gives up big hits. He'll strike out the side and then in the next inning walk 3 and give up 4 runs. And then he'll strike out the next 5 batters.

Oh my god... I just realized who Timmy has turned into...
