Congrats to Ryan Vogelsong

quote:

Ryan Vogelsong capped one of the more remarkable comeback campaigns you'll ever see in excellent fashion on Monday, holding the Rockies to just four hits in seven scoreless innings of a 3-1 Giants victory.
He struck out four and walked none. After going four full seasons without throwing a major-league pitch, Vogelsong will finish 2011 with a 2.71 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 139/61 K/BB ratio compiled over 179 2/3 innings. Although he's unlikely to match those stellar numbers in 2012, he's entrenched himself in the Giants rotation.

Congrats to Vogey on one of the best comebacks I have seen in this game we all love!!emoticon Hard to put into words just how impressive he was this year but remarkable will have to do. Vogey embarked on a long road back to the show and earned everything he got. He is a prime example of why pitching depth is so key to a team's success and glad he will be back next season even is he is likely to regress. Congrats on a wonderful 2011 season!! emoticon

Agreed. But please don't call him Vogey.

I realize that even his wife calls him that, but we are not his wife and I personally can't stand how Bochy gives everyone the "Y" or "ey" or "ee" nickname.

re: Sanchee, Vogey, Sabey, Lamey (g), Tejadee, Roweeeee, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...!

There is only ONE EEE

Timmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

HAHA I can do that. I'll say Vogelsong like Mr. Miyagi says Danielson.
