A Torres CF (DL from 4/15-5/10, 8/13-8/28) F Sanchez 2B (DL from 6/11-present) A Huff RF B Posey C (DL from 5/26-present) P Burrell LF (DL from 7/15-8/31) M Tejada SS (DL from 7/19-8/16, as if anybody cares) B Belt 1B (DL from 6/1-7/8) P Sandoval 3B (DL from 5/1-6/14) T Lincecum P a-M DeRosa PH (DL from 5/18-8/4) N Schierholtz PR (DL from 7/27-8/12, 8/22-present) S Casilla P (DL from 4/6-5/28) As I said before, the only guys who didn't go on the DL : Huff, Timmy. And I was surprised to learn that I was wrong in my previous post : *everybody* from the first game that went on the DL spent a total of *at least* 4 weeks on the DL (ALL of them, whereas I had said "most" in my previous post). Not to mention that there were a lot of other guys who went on the DL who aren't on the above list (Romo, Wilson, Beltran, Fontenot, Ross, ...). It was a really, really, really brutal year for injuries. Another indicator: Huff is the *only* Giant with enough PAs (as a Giant) to qualify for the batting title. I don't believe that there are many seasons for any team, ever, where only one player has at least 500 PAs. nondisclosed_email@example.com (MarcoPolo666)Mon, 26 Sep 2011 15:47:55 +0000 Re:https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p584162,from=rss#post584162https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p584162,from=rss#post584162No one understands the Giants injuries more than I do but the Giants still need upgrades regardless. I have absolutely no doubt that the Giants would be coasting to a division lead right now if none of Posey and Freddy and Wilson and Romo and Nate and Panda went on the DL this season. No doubt whatsoever. Although I would like to see better bats next season, what the Giants HAVE to do is make sure they have a dynamite bullpen next year. Pretty much this. If the Giants dont lose Buster, Freddy, and Pablo for a month, we're talking postseason right now.
