   About a third of the way through.

    And I still hate Chris Berman.

   Give "The Last Boy," the Mantle book by Jane Leavey, a try. You'll like it.

Berman did little to hide his open homerism for the Giants when they made that late sesason run in the 1982 divisional race. I've still got the video proof.

For that reason, it took me longer than it takes people of average intelligence to conclude that he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
