Texas vs Giants

Hey Merkin and friends,

I am a Texas fan (been one since 1972) so there is no hope of changing my mind but here is to a absolutely instant classic world series where each side gives it their very best and we show everyone what baseball is all about. emoticon

Hey Pastor

Sorry for the rude welcome, as I mentioned we can be a little defensive

Here is to a good series and hope there is something for all.... but of course, I will hope with all my might for a Orange and Black victory

Nice to see you, and good luck

Soooo... does this mean you hope one side plays lousy and the games turn into really boring affairs?

I want both sides to play lights out baseball. Baseball so great that the eastern seaboard media will be forced to admit the east has a lot to learn from the west.

I want this World Series to clobber every other sport in the ratings which has never been done before.

Of course, if you just want to emoticon to the football or basketball markets and have a mediocre World Series that is your business.

Hi Merkin,

I have a thick skin so no harm done on the "welcome." SF will probably win the ratings war between the markets as the DFW area will lose over 40% of the potential viewers due to FOX.

But I am looking forward to a full 7 game World Series with the outcome in doubt all the way to the final pitch in the 9th inning! emoticon

[sign in to see URL]... I hope the Giants win a billion to nothing in 4 straight.... been starving for a while..... and after [sign in to see URL], we have some ghosts to [sign in to see URL] ask McCovey about 1962, he is still thinking about it.....

The Reality, is both teams are talented and playing well and it should be a hard fought series.....

of course I would prefer it doesn't get a crazy as ]1991 Twins Braves...but wouldn't be surprised if it ends up that close and considered a [sign in to see URL] of course, the east coast will never give us [sign in to see URL] even to the two BIGGEST States in the union.....

Actually have family connections to DFW area, and my bro was born in Irving back in the [sign in to see URL] was born in Nor Cal but lived in the El Paso area when I was a very little.... I think the first sports stars I looked up too were Staubach, Dorsett and of course in the late 70'[sign in to see URL] was Reggie Jackson....

I understand starving... I have been a Texas fan for 39 years and this is their very first trip to the World Series! That is why I want the nail-biter of all nail-biters for every single game however long the series goes. Nothing would make me happier than to see every game go into extra innings because our respective ball clubs keep hitting balls into the bay (which is something that can only happen in San Fransisco). emoticon

Go Texas and Go Giants... may the best team win but let the loser put up the fight of its life!!!
