pitching rotation in NY

HI All,

Looking to head to Citifield to see the Giants kick some Mets *** next weekend.

My boys would love to see Lincecum pitch. Would you guys know his scheduled start? Is it Friday or Saturday? Thank you for your responses

Re: pitching rotation in NY

Unfortunately you are probably going to miss him in NY this trip. Unless Bochy skips Wellemeyer in Florida, Timmy pencils out to throw the first game against the Padres after the road trip.

He threw yesterday, and with an off day today, Zito, Cain and Sanchez will face the Rocks over the weekend. They then have an off day Monday for travel east, before three with the Marlins. If Bochy sticks with Wellemeyer on Tuesday, Timmy throws in Florida on Wednesday, Zito throws there Thursday, and Cain, Sanchez and Wellemeyer go against the Mets.

You do have a shot though, in that with the two off days (Thursday and Monday) Timmy would have six days off between his start yesterday, and a Florida start Wednesday. If Bochy skips Wellemeyer in Florida on Tuesday and has Timmy go instead, you get him Sunday in New York.

& Matchups

Stay tuned to see what Bochy does, but he has taken a pretty cautious approach so far with Timmy, and has not skipped Wellemeyer yet when opportunities have been there to do so to give Tim an extra day of rest. Will he give him two extra days this time??? Tough to say, but good luck with that, and if you happen to see a guy walking around Citi with a rubber chicken next week, tell him Barry is special for me.

Welcome aboard.

Wellemeyer has been skipped for Tuesday, so you should see him on Sunday. Very bummed that I couldn't make it out to NY for this series.

wouldn't you know it. When I have to go to work in Salt Lake City, the Giants come to my side of the country and play 2 hrs from me and I wont be there. Crap.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.
