[sign in to see URL] make a note of that [sign in to see URL] having to make reservation 1 month in advance for eating there will have to "feel" like it.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

Re: The "Foodie" in all of us...

I have to agree chef. One of the best things about seeing a show at the Independent is knowing that Nopa will still be waiting to welcome you after the encore plays. Great food, solid selections in the beer, wine and spirit department, and the late night service make this a gem in the city. Definitely a place one should keep on their radar when in the area, and while it is not open as late, if you haven't stopped by ]Nopalito do yourself a favor and give it a try.

I very rarely order a dessert, as I usually choose an adult beverage in its place, but I have tasted the S'more Pie at the Buckeye, and it is pretty damn decadent. I'll issue a cost disclaimer before pimping them here, but if you are so inclined it is a fine place to grab lunch or brunch out on the patio on a nice spring day, or have a little more formal dinner in the great old house by the fire. The bar is pretty small so have a reservation, but the cocktails are honest, and I like that you can usually find some type of game, be it duck, rabbit or venison on the menu. I've also had great success with their lamb shanks.

Good thing they take reservations now.

When they first opened they wanted to maintain a "casual" place with no reservations. The chef used to be at Chow on Church, so he was looking for the same neighborhood feel. That didn't work out! That's what happens when you do it too good! lol.
