Forest fires always create the nicest sunsets.
The town of Happy Camp seems to have a big fire in their area every 4 years or so, and all the gardens stop growing. The smoke gets so bad the football games are cancelled and the teams can only work out indoors.
A few weeks ago there were 200,000 pot plants found and destroyed there. We could have used a fire in that part of the woods.

They are making progress. Yesterday was 5% contained. Today at 22%. Hopefully only a couple more days.
Already 130,000 acres burned. They are doing "controlled" fires. Basically burning out areas before the fire gets there to cut off the food supply.

That's good to hear. My thoughts are with the firefighters, the residents, and all the flora and fauna being affected.
