Yo
Tell me if this is possible:
I'd like to have real-time, automated updates of new posts to a website (which does offer subscriptions, btw), with pop-up alerts in my browser similar to new-email notifications.
I'm using the latest version of Firefox.
As far as I can tell, when you add a website subscription to "Firefox Live Bookmarks", it simply adds a bookmark folder to the other collection of bookmarks.
It's up to the user to manually refresh the list of articles...
...but I'm looking for a browser add-on or something that's already built in to the browser or even, if necessary, a separate software application that can make automated, unattended updates with some sort of notification like email alerts/pop-ups...
Hope that made sense - looking forward to some feedback.
