Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

Today I went to the park to see a wonderful game. We kicked major 2005 WORLD SERIES CHAMPS ASS! I mean we killed.

I saw Jack Taschner running on the field and I hoped that he would come over and sign. He did! I was so shy and I just asked him to sign my jersey. I was literaly on cloud nine. He must have been like she's nuts or something. I was speechless I mean I really was happy afterwards. I will have pictures posted later on when I get back. don't have the right photothing to do so.

Jello hit a grand slam.
Feliz HR only because... NO ONE WAS ON BASE!
Niekro HR.

And it was split squad so that's why the score was the way it was.

found something cool. will post ASAP when I get back.

MISS YOU ALL! emoticon

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to report what's going on. Today we went to Peoria and saw a game against the Padres. The facility is huge! It's shared by the Mariners. They have on site 12 full size baseball fields. I don't know why. The game looked good for a while because we were winning. That was good. Then when Jack gave up runs (4) total I was heart broken. I knew that the game wasn't going to be fun.

While there we checked out the food selection. It's great. There's a lot to choose from. They even have Fry Bread. Yes, like the kind under the bleachers. They had something called "Taco in a bag" and that was good. It was either Doritos or Fritos and they placed taco like stuff into the bag. They had Greek food and that was chicken gyros. They have ice cream and this really long sausage. It was called "Ruthian" and it was BIG! Even Merkin couldn't eat it. Well to be fair he didn't eat it. It was HUGE!

They had just a wide selection. It was nice everything was just spread out. I loved it. Check out Merkin's report to see the food and also other stuff.

We met people that were Padres fans and they were cool. We gave Ortmeier a couple of shout outs. Pedro did a HR only because NO ONE WAS ON! Everyone looked good.

Today's game was terrible. The weather was cloudy until the end of the game. After the horror of it all we lost.

Eveyone looked good. The game wasn't that interesting for me so I went shopping a few times during the game. I got cool cactus league towels and also I got the blanket with the ones with all the teams that trade in AZ.

I was glad when Taschner came into the game. He did a lot better as relief because Cain wasn't doing to well. At least today he did get the outs. This should help him forget yesterday and focus on tomorrow.

Benetiez sucked big time. It was like we were the White Sox and then getting killed by ourselves.

After the game I went and waited for autos. I got Moises and Jack Taschner on the same ball. Jack's really nice. Merkin has the low down on players cars.

Then after some rest it was off to Maryvale to see sausages run. No luck. They were sent back to Milwaukee for opening day. No fair.

During the 8th inning they did "[sign in to see URL].". not a clue why byt they did. More tomorrow after watching the Rockies.

I'll try to post stuff later on.

today's day started with packing up stuff. it was the last day of spring training for the giants and the a's. i had no idea how much stuff i had bought. i packed too much there. there's stuff i didn't even wear. i brought too much.

after we packed up and figured out what to do we were on our way to the a's park. the fun part was getting lost because the map was incorrect. we got there late and can't believe that they had no a lot of choices.

i had no time to bring back stuff. really. unless they want a cap that's all i have. noting special in terms of food. just the same stuff. they had grilled food.

their "dugout" store is small. they had some of the other wbc hats and then a few spring training items. the oddest thing i have seen is the blue shirts with white lettering. how is that a's related i'll never know.

the game was short. well that's because we got there late. it was a shut out and it felt sweet for me. i was at the game that never happened last season and i still deny i was ever there.

after that it was a trip to quiktrip and get some great milk shake. we got hooked. we went there like two times in the past 24 hrs. it was our favorite place to go for milk shakes.

]quikshake

we circled the airport a few times before getting to the ballpark but it was worth it. dinner was chevys. i will have a more detailed update later on about what it was like.

I'm BACK! Ok that's for work, but still I arrive back to work to find signs that say: Let's go A's.

That's ok I guess. I just wish it said: Let's go Giants! A crazy girl can dream right?

Well I found out the players checked in and there's a favorite former Dodger there.

He's there in the same building as me. No I'm not joking. I sort of want to go up there and talk to him, but I decided not to. It's not worth it.

I did try to ask the parking guy for car information, but he knew nothing. The only person who would know is the lady in the gift shop.

I looked at my A's schedule (hey at least it's a calander that can tell you the days of the week and if you're playing at McAfee. It was incorrect. They forgot the 4/2/06 game. That's bad. That person should be fired. The GM was passing that around to people. Maybe I should point that out with my GIANTS schedule.

[sign in to see URL] I won't get the A's tickets.

That's all for now. I did post somewhere where I worked and I won't post it again so good luck trying to find it.

Let's see how baseball related to me today. Well you all know I work in Oakland and that's the A's territory. Today was wear GREEN day. I didn't get a memo on that and since I was going to the game I wore my Giants color and my Giants jacket. I get to work and forget where I work even though I saw the signs yesterday.

Anyway, one of my co-workers just tells everyone what fan I am so then everyone goes you're a GIANTS fan? I go yeah I know I'm at the wrong hotel. Then later on we have a fire drill. The assisstant GM tells EVERYONE there I'm a GIANTS FAN. I'm not ashamed of it, but he's a DODGER FAN wearing GREEN. If anything he should be embarassed. Betraying his beloved Dodgers for A's. Well then again he is ASSISSTANT GM.

So now the following people know I'm a GIANTS FAN:
Bellman dept
Front desk dept
Sales and catering dept
one security
GM
Finance dept
Engineering dept
reservations
parking

I now feel like the outsider if I didn't already. I don't know if I'll ever be able to wear green to work. I'll make sure to have my St. Patrick's day shirt handy.

I heard something, but I thought it was next week. I took !@#$ from A's fans so what? I liked the fact I didn't rub in the preseason loss, but I just was like yeah, it's preseason though.

I went to the game in search of 24 kinds of sausages. I had a little luck, but I'm not sure if there are 24. I had garlic fries and now I reek of garlic. I did get pictures of things at the park and I'm going to post them here so everyone can see. The park is strange. They're still going to add more of the digital ad banner !@#$ to the park.

They took out the photo booth and put the "Build A-Bear" there in center field. There were quite a few people with that already done. I didn't go in to look.

The pics shall be up sometime between now and then end of tomorrow's game (Sat).

The park is different. Really cheesey.
