--Brewers are 1.5 games back of the Mets in the WC race and will be at home for 3 against the Pirates

Remaining schedules:

Mets- 4 games vs Cubs, 3 vs Marlins

Phillies- 3 games vs Braves, 3 vs Nats

And in regards to the "thirst for worst" aka the draft pick race, see below:
(one week left to go in the regular season)

Thirst for Worst-- Top 15 Standings as of end of day, Sunday, September 21st:
(also included at the bottom are the next 5 worst teams in baseball)

***Note Baltimore is currently playing but a win or a loss won't affect their TFW standings ***

--Seattle still holding the top spot, after they and the Nats lose two more in a row.
Seattle has lost 11 in a row now-- and one could argue that they are intentionally trying for the number one pick. ....Or just that they sukkk.
--Washington has lost 5 in a row, and are 2-8 in the last ten games.

--Baltimore moves up into the top 5 spot. ***
--Detroit moves into the top ten.
--DOYERS move down a spot and are now the 17th worst team in baseball.
(or 14th "best". Either way you look at it, they are average at best- and don't belong anywhere near the playoffs.)

1. Seattle 57-98 .368 -- E
2. Washington 58-98 .372 -- E
3. San Diego 61-95 .391 -- E
4. Pittsburgh 65-91 .417 -- E
5. Baltimore 67-86 .438 -- E
6. Atlanta 69-87 .442 -- E
T-7. Kansas City 70-86 .449 -- E
T-7. San Francisco 70-86 .449 -- E
9. Colorado 71-85 .455 -- E
10. Detroit 71-83 .461 -- E
11. Cincinnati 72-83 .465 -- E
12. Oakland 74-81 .477 -- E
13. Texas 75-81 .481 -- E
T-14. Cleveland 78-77 .503 -- E
T-14. Arizona 78-77 .503 -- E number =5

16. St Louis 80-75 .516 -- E
17. DOYERS 81-75 .519 -- E number = first divisional series, if reached
T-18. Florida 81-74 .523 -- E number = 1
T-18. Houston 82-73 .529 -- E
20. Toronto 83-73 .532 -- E

Hopefully the Mets lose the Wild Card in Epic fashion to the Brewers
