First time to a game

So I'm going to be in San Francisco for the Giants game later this month against the Dodgers. I've never been to a game and I'd like to know the best place to sit for a decent price. I might be treating my family who lives out there to the game (just depends how many of them plan on going lol) but just in case it's only 2 or 3 of them I might.

Normally I wouldn't want outfield seats but I've never been to a stadium with an ocean right behind it so it might not be as bad.

i guess if you're going to the last games of the season it'll be a little bit pricier than others. cos 1 it'st he dodgers and 2 it's the last of the season.

let's see the best place to get tickets is either stub hub or ebay even craigslist.

now depending on how many of you and where you want to sit might be the price you wanna pay.

upper desk aka view reserve is the cheaper seats except you're high up..still great way to watch the game and the views.

bleachers are more of the beer drinkers and sometimes fights break out but better deal and closer to the game.

lower box is good too. and club level is a bit pricer unless you can get those less than face value. (look on giants site for prices for each of the sections)

once you know how many people are going then you should get tickets right away. day games are good..warmer..night games are colder depending on where you sit. arcade is good too, but not at night unless you want to freeze.

others should have suggestions, but also the giant site has pictures from the seats of the views of roughly what they look like.

i'd say get your tickets asap as prices might go down, but might not. i hope others have suggestions for you.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

I'm not really worried about cold. I always laugh a little when I see people wearing coats at your games. I guess it's just something you get used to but when you have 0 degree or below winters in Ohio a little chilly weather is nothing.

But I never thought about prices being more, that's a good point, guess I better get on it. I'll probably go with ebay, I had luck with the Reds/Giants game.
