GAMEBALL and JERK..... 08/15/08 GIANTS at BRAVES
08/15/08 GIANTS at BRAVES
What the hell is going on….
The front office committing to the youth, and then putting their money and actions where their mouth is?????
Making sure that money doesn’t prevent signing their top 2008 picks, dropping another $2+ Million on a Dominican Phenom, babying their pair of High School Phenoms keeping them at one location all year long……Trading Ray for a pair of 1/2 way decent players….
I don't know who's in charge, but this is the exact opposite of 2002-3……..doubling down on a veteran team…….
The Giants might not be world-beaters in 2009, but something tells me they are well on their way to respectability
GAMEBALL
CAIN
The big horse is back on a roll, and this time they are converting starts into wins….
And Cain got a WHOLE TWO RUNS…..and that was all he needed as he brought his record to 8-9…..and almost back to .500……..
Whats that….another 8 starts or so????….Yeah, I think 12 Wins would pretty nice considering who crappy this team and this year as been…….
TIP OF THE CAP
WINN
4 hits, with 2 doubles and a HR…….this kid has been on FIRE…..reprising his last 2 months of 2005…….
MOLINA
Another vet with 4 hits on the night…….
JERK :jerk:
OLYMPICS
Wow…..
IN the 11th, you start the inning with 2 runners on base?????
What the !@#$ is this…..hell the Olympics should just cut baseball from the program….oh they did already??????
Man the IOC or whoever the !@#$ makes decisions have their heads FAR up their asses…….
No nation plays baseball under this kinda rule!!!
You may sit around and tweak the Rules of Badminton and Judo trying to make them more fan friendly…. but last I heard Baseball draws WELL over 100 million fans per year between Professional leagues, and Amateur leagues across the world..pretty sure it doesn’t need the help of the Olympic powers that be
SMACK OF THE STICK
ROHLINGER…..
Umm, dude……we get the nerves thing already……but you better get your !@#$ straight quick or you are going to get leap frogged by……Justin Leone

I agree.
I am not ready to throw the towel in on the kid, and I am sticking to my plan of NOW letting him sit for about 3 or 4 days. But he needs to get over it quick or they will HAVE to do something with him.

I see no reason to play Aurilia at this point in the season. Let the kid rest and work on the mental game for ONE day, sure. He should be back out there tomorrow - not 3 days from now.
