GAMEBALL and JERK..... 05/27 GIANTS at DBACKS
GAMEBALL and JERK
05/27 GIANTS at DBACKS
GAMEBALL
MOLINA
Wow, gotta love our All Star Catcher (can I say that yet?)……
Miscast in the cleanup hole, and aslked to lead a young pitching staff, Bengie has done everything we could have expected and more……and HELLUVA LOT MORE……
Christ, who woulda thought this free agent afterthought would become THE feared hitter in the Giants lineup……..
Tonight he once again was the big stick belting a Haren curve for a 3 run BOMB in the 3rd setting the tone for the game…….
So grab your all star ballots and start punching Bengies name, because despite the great year he is having…..he is no shoe in…….
McCann has more homers, and is right behind Bengie in Average and RBI's
Soto has more Homers and RBI's, and is hitting .300
Martin was the all star from last year, and despite not having the numbers could easily win the vote……
And then there is good old Bengie…..the well deserving All Star…..that may just get a snub
TIP OF THE CAP
CASTILLO
I swear this guy is getting better…..on offense and defense……
Castillo clubbed a curveball for a deep shot to Center and his 4th homer of the year……
Not exactly a lights out year, but it looks to be a growth year for the 27 year old, who still has time to grow…..
Hitting for a little more power, grinding out a few more walks…..Castillo has managed to rank 5th among 3rdbaseman in OPS……not exactly stuff of MVP's……but far from dogshit……
Now chances are Castillo never amounts to anything but a 1 year stop gap……but you never know …….he just might turn into a useful piece for the Giants…..
JERK
WALKER
This ain't looking good kids…..
Our dear friend Mr Walker came into the game with Lincecum's runners on base, and proceeded to let them both score turning :Lincecum's pitching line from good to average…….
Tylers performance was on par with what he has been doing since Pittsburgh
Equal parts, Sporadic control of the Fastball, No Control of the Split Finger, and plain old snake bit bounce of the ball……..and anyway you slice the man we have deemed our 8th inning man, has been nothing but disappointment over the past couple of weeks…..and in that 8th inning role he can break a lot of hearts…..
Lets hope Bochy knows what he is doing……otherwise it might make sense let Walker work out his issues in the back of the pen and use Chulk…..Yabu….. and …Sadler in the 8th……
HOLY !@#$, what am I saying.????……Chulk, Yabu, and Sadler?????
Sounds a like a Hanna Barbara Law Firm…..not the 8th inning bridge to a closer……
COME BACK MERKIN, WHERE EVER YOU ARE…….
SMACK OF THE STICK
UPTON
Next Ken Griffey Jr eh????
Hows that 0 for 24 with 17 strikeouts feel?
Man, I don’t think I've ever heard of a slump that deep……
Bowcock and Eugenio send their condolences

Merk,
How did you manage to not mention Timmy's performance?
He was brilliant AGAIN tonight.
I also think Hinshaw is a better 8th inning guy than anyone else we have going.
