GB and JK 04/19/08 Gmen in Cowtown

This team is better than the 2007 version…..
No, wait……let me rephrase that…..
Except for the absence of Barry Bonds, this team is better than the 2007 version…….
Now that is a lot like saying, the smartest kid on the short bus……but still. despite the losses that will sure to mount on this team…. the corner has already turned as the young guns of the rotation gain experience, the bullpen starts to settle down, and we uncover a few young useful pieces on the offensive side of the ball……
Soon some of the pitching at the high levels of the minors will be major league ready, and the Giants can trade off some of its major league staff for position help……
An then in the low minors……help on both side of the ball is promised……..
So things may look pretty ugly, and the Giants just might reach 100 losses…..the days of watching an old slow, declining team finish out of the money is over….and the Giants should return to contender status as soon as 2009 ……

GAMEBALL and JERK

ROWAND

Although not the traditional middle of the order threat Giants Fans were hoping for, Aaron looks like he will be earning his Free Agent Dollars……
On day where any offense was going to be enough, Aaron belted his first home run of the year to lengthen the lead to 3 runs…….
Aaron had a multi hit game to continue his quick start, which on a team devoid of major offensive threats, has been a godsend…..
So Mr Rowand, for your contributions today we extend to you the GAMEBALL

TIP OF THE CAP emoticon
TIMMY
Easily the best thing to happen to the Giants since 2003…. Timmy's raw ability is becoming honed down as Timmy learns his craft…..Giants fans have NEVER seen this kind of ability from a starting pitcher and within a year or two, Tim will be a Cy Young contender……Giants better lock up Tim ala Cain and Lowry ASAP……..

WOODY!!!!
Ahhh, one of the Giants most loved alumus was in the stands….reminding the Giants of some of the good old days…..namely an 8 year stretch where Kirk started at least 27 games a year…..and the Giants never had a losing record…….
Good old Woody…..
Soft Tossing Lefty Winning with Luck always on his side

Where's our Bowker????
The early season phenom is red red hot, and now riding the pine?????
Watching as the Vets have their averages sink lower and lower????
Come on Bochy, this team isn’t going anywhere…..time to give kids a full time chance, instead oif shuttling them in and out of the lineup, up and down the lineup, and back and forth across the diamond……how the hell are they supposed to get comfortable you JERK

SMACK OF THE STICK emoticon
CARDS FANS
Since the late 80's there has been bad blood between the Giants and the Cardinals…..
From Leonards one flap down, to Ozzie Smith's sissy slapping Will Clark…
The hypocritical "purist" hardcore baseball fans have been amongst the most vocal critics of Mr Bonds and his purist of Aaron…..despite their own relationship with Mr McGwire,…..
When McGwire is long since retired and therefore a subject that can be ignored…..
But wait……now their present day cleanup hitter is a self admitted juicer, and one of the most prominent player still in the prime of his career……
SO HOW THE !@#$ DO YOU JUSTIFY CHEERING NOW THE SHOES ON THE OTHER FOOT?????
Just be glad that Mitchell didn't nab Pujols you assholes……

Come on Merk, Bowker's average dropped dramatically .254 points, no manager in their right mind would play a player who dropped that amount of points in their average. </sarcasm>

That's why we need to stick to the proven vets, they are much more consistant like Aurilia, who has been consistantly batting around .160 at least you know what you're getting from him </looks like I ended the sarcasm too early>
