Fully Awake GB and JERK 04/15 DBACKS at GIANTS
Sorry, folks.. lately after these evening games… I have just been as worn down as Schmidt are after being handled by Felipe Alou…..
I have been guilty of nodding off, and then posting in a 1/2 asleep state…..
Just glad I haven’t said anything incriminating….
That being said, I better get this wrapped up before I nod off……
GAMEBALL and JERK
04/15/08 DBACKS at GIANTS
GAMEBALL
BOWKER
I feel a man crush coming on here……
He maybe Monkey's new Boyfriend, but I got the feeling she is gonna have to share him with many a Giants fan…..
A flawed prospect, just like so many position players that have passed through San Francisco……Ahhhhh but something seems different……
See that swing…..quick through the zone… no wasted motion….just square up the head and let er rip…….
Quick stroke with a little backspin uppercut will generate a lot of singles and extra base hits…….. that’s what I like to see from a young hitter…..Sure he K's too much and he doesn't have the power you would want from a corner OF…but those are two skills that can come with time……
In the meantime….. Here is another GAMEBALL for Bowker for keeping the bandwagon rolling with a 2 hit day…….
TIP OF THE CAP
CROIX
I spy on my Tivo that someone was playing hooky and soaking up some rays this afternoon…….here is to your 15 min of fame…..
JERK
WARRIORS
:jerk:
What the !@#$ just happened……
The red headed step child of bay area sports finally gave us some excitement last year….. Its seemed that the only wild card would be the health of Baron Davis……
So now, even with the benefit of a healthy Baron Davis all year…. the Warriors are once again on the outside looking in……
Sure this team is still young, but Nellie ain't getting younger….and I get the feeling this team might have already peaked and be headed from whence it came….back to being a bunch of JERKS……
SMACK OF THE STICK
WOODS
Speaking of other sports….. Tiger tears off like 13 wins a row, which is just flat our ridiculous….(was it 13?)
Pretty soon everyone is predicting a REAL Golf Grand Slam in 2008…..
Well Tiger goes from odds on favorite….. to runner up in the Masters….. to OUT with knee surgery and missing the Players Chamoionship…well that’s 0 for 2 before we even began…..
IRS
nothing much…..just a simple !@#$ YOU BASTIDS…..
Why do I have to spend 15 hours figuring out that I have to give YOU money……
50 ANNIVERSARY BOOK
Yeah…. looks pretty cool…..let me see here…
$50!!!!
!@#$, better be a damn good book…..and im a sucker for Giants stuff……
What???? $8 for Shipping and $4 convenience fee????
CONVENIENCE FEE????
Is BASS TICKETS PRINTING THE BOOK?????
OK, so whats that $62????
Damn…well…. ok I guess I can pony up $62…….cant wait to see the book…..
SHIPPING JUNE???? You GOT to be kidding me…….
I pay you $50 for the book., $8 to ship, and $4 for the convenience of buying a book, and it STILL TAKES YOU 2 MONTHS TO GET ME A BOOK??????
Oh well, I guess in the meantime I will settle for a book for a fraction of the price
and without all the pretty pictures….

--- Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.
