04/11/08 CARDS at GIANTS GB and JERK
I have to say, thet 3 game streak broghiu sjer smkleky snanju in traffic on Sundays…….
GAMEBALL and JERK
04/11/08 CARDS at GIANTS
GAMEBALL
STEVE HOLM
Didn't do much to distinguish himself tonight…..but hey… this kid made the majors…..got his name in the Baseball Encyclopedia (do they still print that)… which is a hellova lot better than 99% of us…..
And if the kid does stil in the show....well THATS just gravey....
So Steve… good luck in the show, here is your GAMEBALL….
Next one, you earn
TIP OF THE CAP
LEWIS
Still not smooth in the field, but the patience and the power are undeniable……
Let just hope he gets a full chance in a Giants uniform, until he goes the way of all those other washed out prospects……
BOCOCK
2 hits… slick slick slick….what more do you want
JERK
FLANNERY
:jerk:
3rd base coaches are like umpires, you only notice them when they suck……and Flannery invented a new level of suckitude in the 4th….
1st with 1 out, sending Aurilia to the plate only to be gunned down by a weak ass 27 hopper from the center fielder thrown 10 feet up the first base line…..
Sure the pitcher was coming up, but when a shitty throw beats the runner by a mile….you had NO CHANCE…..
And then sending a CATCHER to the plate with your hot hand Fred Lewis coming up…..
Holm had a chance, but after Barton charged the ball, he was near the lip of the infield letting loose with a throw hom almost simultaneous to Holm passing Flannery….
So for a team hard pressed to score runs, have a rally killed by a coach is unacceptable…..
I am all for being aggressive……but that wasn’t aggressive…. that was just plain being a JERK….
SMACK OF THE STICK
DURHAM
Holy Iron Mitt Batman……Ray Ray go Clank again……
Always maligned for his defense, Ray has always been hot and cold with the glove…..
Having Omar nearby seemed to raise Rays game, but now Ray seems like he is lucky just to keep the ball in front of him……
PLAY VELEZ, at least he has about 7 steps more of range and more importantly, a future

i think merkin just likes to play boggle a lot..it's not drinking..it's boggle
--- Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.
