The Name Dropping, Stupid Bragging, One-Upmanship Game Thread

This game is designed to see how many times smac will try to one-up everyone.

I'll start:

I personally know my garbage man. Can anyone one up that?

Absolutely hilarious!

Ok, my turn:

I PERSONALLY know my mailman, AND his wife-- who also occasionally delivers the mail.

I don't have their autographs yet, but they have gotten mine on several occasions.

I ALSO received a personally signed letter from Ed McMahon TWICE in the last 5 years. I wrote him back, but I did not hear from him. He must have gotten really busy and it slipped his mind to reply.

Can anyone beat that?

You think US Mail > UPS?

I know the owner of Golden State Overnight. Heh.

well... no, not really.
The UPS thing was a pretty strong entry. However, fug only listed ONE mail carrier-- and I listed TWO.

PLUS I name dropped Ed McMahon, and so I think that for now, I am cooler and better than Fug.

But-- it's still early in the competition, and he may come back strong in the later rounds so I better not be too hasty in claiming superiority.

Having worked with the Giants and a few other teams and dating a former player, I do know a LOT of players, both current and former. I also have met a ton of the Giants employees. So it isn't name dropping, it's just who I know because of the position I was lucky enough to be in.
