The announcer calling the game on [sign in to see URL] just assured all that spring training records mean absolutely nothing. Such positivity! Sorry but if the red sox are 12-14 at the end of spring THAT means nothing. If the g's with their lack of talent are 7-19 thats a BIG difference. Fact is by his logic with teams using so many players in these games why isn't everybody right around 500? Any team as far south of 500 as the g's are clearly are playing to their true level- sad as that is

are you kidding? this team will be lights out when the season starts. the giants will surely be the favorite in the west with their dominant pitching, and juggernaught [sign in to see URL], i can't hold it in anymore

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Ray Durham, enjoying a renaissance at the plate this spring, was removed from the Giants' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday after playing the top half of the first in the field due to a migraine headache.

Eugenio Velez pinch hit for the 36-year-old second baseman in the bottom of the first and remained in the game.

Durham, hitting .387 with three doubles and six RBIs in spring, has been hampered by hamstring problems in the past. He was used as a designated hitter the past few days.

Durham is coming off his worst season as a professional, hitting .218 in 2007, and could never get on track in an injury-filled season.

Durham's condition will be monitored.

Sanchez is having a great game out there, considering how our starters have performed as of late.

Nice to see us with a lead.
