9$ - the curt reply may have been due to the fact that the deal isn't with NBC (the network) - it's with a local (San Francisco) station, which happens to be an NBC affiliate (KNTV, channel 11).
You can find the list of affiliates here :
http://sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com/sf/schedule/radioaffiliates.jsp
The Sac TV affiliate (unless it recently changed) is KMAX Channel 31 (a UPN affiliate).
Thanks Marco, but that link is useless since it still reflects the Fox affiliates, and as you know--the deal is now with NBC.
The deal is with KNTV (a local station), and NOT the national network (NBC). If you look at the (old) list on the site, you will see that many were Fox affiliates, but many were not. It is a case-by-case situation.
Since the web site is out of date, I guess you will have to contact the giants directly. Any season ticket holders here willing to ask their sales rep for the new list?
ok, if it makes you happy, I will clarify my post:
Thanks Marco, but that link is useless ( when providing ANY NBC affiliate station info) since it still reflects the Fox affiliates, and as you know--the deal is now with (AN) NBC (station- and the games in question are NOT going to be shown on any of the FOX affiliates that the dated info on the link reflects.)
Is that better-- or do you want to re-split the already split hair-- into to a total of four strands?!
Sheesh. I do appreciate your efforts to help, but it doesn't change the fact that your link is all but useless when it comes to proving any useful NBC affiliate info, let alone which local NBC affiliates will carry the games in all of our respective viewing locales.
That is all I was trying to say and that is also why people are even asking about this at all to begin with--- Because the Giants website info is still fucked up and useless.

I've sent an email asking for clarification.
Why do you think that suddenly every TV station will change because KTVU (a SF local station) didn't renew and thus a deal to KNTV (another SF local station) was signed? They are LOCAL deals, not network deals (has nothing to do with Fox or NBC). It's not splitting hairs, it's reality. As an example, KTVU was *always* the local affiliate before this year - long before Fox existed. Heck, KTVU was one of the first "super-stations" before becoming a Fox affiliate years ago. (Anybody else remember "dialing for dollars"?)
Anyhow, as I've said, I've sent off a request for more info.

I just took another look at the broadcast list on the first page, above. I was surprised not to see any ESPN or Fox saturday games listed. (For example, the Giants website lists the Mar 31 SF-LA games as being broadcast on ESPN). And doesn't Fox (the national network) still have rights to all Sat day games, as "MLB on FOX"?
All very confusing.

No Bonds, no National Broadcasts.
The Giants had a pretty good run of Saturday National Games last summer during The Chase.

The Fox games aren't national - there are somewhere's between 2-5 games broadcast on Fox affiliates each Saturday, depending on both what's available, and the local market. (I remember we got stuck with Dodger or Angel games a couple of times that the Giants were playing, and the game wasn't televised.)
And ESPN is broadcasting the Giants' first game of the season - nationally. (Although it might simply be an excuse to spend 3 hours talking about Bonds, steroids, and the fact that Bonds is no longer with the Giants ;-)

When is the Broadcast Schedule Released?
The "Broadcast Affiliates" list has been updated on sfgiants.com.
It looks like all the affiliates that had been Fox stations were replaced by "MY" stations (except for NBC-11), and that no other NBC stations were added as "Affiliates".

I wonder if my stupid DishNetwork, which forces me into Sacramento stations because I'm about 10 miles closer to it, will carry those "NBC" games. I didn't get about half of the KTVU ones because they'd rather run Judge Judy.
Email your local NBC affiliate(s) and ask if they will carry those 20 games.
Mine said NO --- and declined to offer any explanation when I replied to their curt email asking why they wouldn't be carrying those twenty games.
Where are you located Nine? I am in Sac, and we always get screwed when it comes to the local station broadcasting games.

Who wants to watch the Giants and Dodgers when you can check out Judge Judy?
