Which lineup would you want to watch

Roberts LF
Vizquel SS
Winn RF
Molina C
Rowand CF
Durham 2B
Aurilia 3B

or

Velez 2B
Frandsen 3B or Vizquel SS
Winn LF
Molina C
Rowand CF
Sheirholtz RF
Ortmeier 1B
Vizquel SS or Frandsen 3B

Personally I would rather see the 2nd lineup with getting as many kids as much playing time as possible for future seasons.

In April and May, I would rather see Durham and Aurilia and Roberts playing, AS LONG AS they are playing well. That's the best chance to trade them. The Giants management isn't going to sack $25M worth of contracts, no matter how much certain internet posters want them to do so. The best chance to improve the team for future years is for "the old guys" to play WELL, so they can get traded. That (of course) means that they actually have to PLAY.

Do not suggest trading for somebody for only two years (unless the Giants dump a crappy contract)

If we are going to ignore reality (i.e., who the Giants have already signed to big contracts), I think I'd prefer a lineup along the lines of :

Ichiro Suzuki CF
Jimmy Rollins SS
Albert Pujols 1B
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Vladimir Guerrero RF
Chase Utley 2B
Carl Crawford LF
Russell Martin C

I can agree with that, I just hope that we get 2006 first half then 2007 first half, because if we get 2007 first half then it's a wasted 2 months of development for our "kids".

If we are going to ignore what Magowan and Sabean have said about having open competition during spring and the best players will start and continue to play players based on there salaries then I guess our lineup is going to be:

Roberts LF
Vizquel SS
Winn RF
Molina C
Rowand CF
Durham 2B
Aurilia 3B
Ortmeier 1B

Same old crap, different year. This lineup represents stay the course and don't admit mistakes by Sabean and Magowan.

i'll be goddamned. turns out sabes and pmg do not read this board and do not value my baseless drivel. rejection can be a sad thing, so i'l be sure to drink more to make up for it.

memo to giants (the one they will never get): release dave roberts. thanks.

yeah but damon bruce does and if he has any pull (i think zero) only management might hear what he has to say.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

perhapps mr. bruce can pass this along:

peter, you are one cheap asshole. thanks for blowing the chance to protect barry in favor of dividend distributions. truly the work of someone who should be not running a sports franchise. btw, with regards to your daughter, i won't talk if she doesn't.
