I didn't make that comparison because I didn't want to be cynical. Also, I've posted earlier in the thread that I would DFA Roberts asap!
My hope is that by the end of Rowland's contract the Giants will be respectable again. If that is the case, then Rowland's likely diminishing offensive capabilities in say 2011, will not warrant a sport in one of the corner OF spots.

Or, to rephrase: I would expect a serious fan to know the names of the players. Can't spell them? Not much of a fan, in my book.

Heck, half the time I'm typing Schierholtz I think I spelled it wrong. But Rowand?
And I thought it was obvious, but I'll clarify just in case : what I meant was that a fan should be know and be able to spell the name of players on HIS team.
