Congressional hearings/steroids
Maybe I am in the minority on this I don't know, but enough of these congressional hearings and all the steroids crap that has been swirling in the news for years. I am tired of hearing about all this bullshit. To be honest, who in the hell cares about who took what at this point? Who cares about the conversation that Pettitte and Clemons had? Who cares about Macname and Radomski? This thing has been beaten like a dead horse a billion times over. Enough already! Everybody knows this was/ is the steroid era... nothing anybody says from this point forward will change any of that. It is what it is. This Mitchell report was supposed to provide closure. Yeah right.... all it did was continue to drag this crap on and on and on. All this talk about preserving the integrity of thegame??? Well why in the heck did they give Selig a contract extension? He was one of the biggest perpatrators out there who let this thing blow up to where it is today by ignoring what went on all those years. Can we please get back to the game of baseball on the field and just enjoy it for what it is? One day I hope we are able to do this, but as long as Selig is in office especially, this !@#$ won't stop! Ahhh I feel better now that I got that off my chest!

Don't tell us - write to your newspaper(s). The former will change nothing, the latter *might*.

This is a diversionary play to pull the light away from where it really belongs ... on Selig and the owners. Haul their asses in front of these boofs in Congress and ask them the tough questions under oath ... that includes President Bush, too, since he was an owner when steroids were raging, too.

I've been listening to the hearings this morning and man, Roger is getting grilled. He made a pretty passionate opening statement denying all accusations, but he's gotten holes poked in all his statements.

Clemens is getting owned.
Some of those ancient self blowing politicians are very hard to listen to though.
And Clemens lawyers are pissing them off.

So far nobody has disputed the following:
BM injected CK and AP with HGH
BM injected Clemen's wife with HGH
I have trouble believing RC never discussed HGH with AP (as AP testified under oath) and that RC never used HGH personally even though he convinced his wife to use it before a big photo shoot

While I can agree with the "it's a diversionary ploy" idea, considering that these are congressional hearings, I think that attention is being diverted from something else entirely ...
