Feliz to Brewers?

According to [sign in to see URL] Melvin mentioned Feliz as a possibility. Still hope of a draft pick out of him.

emoticon A little question mark at the end of the thread title makes all the difference in the world. I'm actually rather scared what Sabean would do if Feliz isn't resigned for a short, reasonable deal. Rolen? Inge? These names I keep seeing popped up makes me want to emoticon

Sorry, I noticed I forgot one after I posted. Adds a little excitement though!

Why would the Brewers be looking to sign Feliz, they have Ryan Braun at 3rd, Prince Fielder at 1st, JJ Hardy at SS and it would make very little sense for them to sign him as a LF.

don't forget Bill Hall in the mix with is IF/OF abilities. I'm starting to think maybe the Brewers aren't so smart...

Feliz would be a great fit for the Brewers. Braun has a great bat but stone hands. Didn't he lead the NL in errors at 3B? It makes perfect sense that Melvin would want to move Braun to LF, keep Hall in CF and have Hart in RF. All is missing is a replacement at 3B. That's why there was all that talk about Rolen or Crede going to Brewers.

All I know is, I sure do hope that Feliz signs with somebody so the Giants can get that extra pick. The rumor is the Twins could also be interested in Feliz.

Just sayin'

I don't see the Twins being major players for Feliz after signing Mike Lamb earlier this offseason.

Another recent rumor has the Brewers pursuing Cameron, with (presumably) Hall returning to 3B. After Cameron's suspension, anyway.

Anyone else find it a little funny that all the Mitchell Report juicers and/or guys who actually got caught & suspended are still being picked up as FAs? Doesn't seem like much of a backlash to me. And at the same time, teh media says Bonds won't get a job anywhere. I suppose it just confirms what we all suspected: baseball is a business, and there is no blacklisting if someone can help your team.

Cameron was not suspended for steroids nor do I think was he named in the Mitchell Report. He got a 25 game suspension for violating the MLB ban on stimulants.

Just sayin'
