Sounds like he will be good. Although it's another no power player

And hey, the Giants probably make him a pitcher anyway.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I have an Idea, this may be what Sabean is thinking, but what if we put a pitcher at every position give each a ball that way the batter will never know where the pitch is coming from.

He's trying to win every game 0-0, because if you end in a tie, you haven't lost. Therefore, you've won.

I haven't heard too much about Hicks. He's intriguing, and as a position player, definitely fits what Sabean is valuing in speed and defense....but he has good batspeed, without comment on contact. Without that, his value drops considerably.

I like what I hear of him, but I think he's an overdraft at five. Speedy players out of high school are rarely top picks. I think (granted this is early) there's a good chance he'd be available at #37, where the Giants would pick if Feliz signs elsewhere.

The Mock Draft loses a lot of credibility, especially considering that there isn't even a sandwich round referred to.

Brute - how is the order in the supplemental round determined?

Is it "pick in same order as overall draft, first all type 'A' compensation picks, then all type 'B' compensation picks" ??

Do not suggest trading for somebody for only two years (unless the Giants dump a crappy contract)

I should think it would lose credibility based on the fact that it's got the word "mock" in it.

Lame, I know. Sorry for the poor joke.

According to my info, it is, though BA has a different order. I haven't figured out who is right.
