Re: Incredible Story

I have NO IDEA if anyone will ever see this. I also have NO IDEA if anyone believes this. I also DO NOT CARE if anyone reads and believes or not. I just need to say this for myself.

My name is Sami Brake. I am the 12 year old (now 24) girl that Bryant Beaver raped. I would like to say that the "hilarious" comments about how he was a talented player based on being able to "date" a woman and her two daughters is completely UNCALLED for.

Obviously, the ENITRE story is NOT on here and most likely will never be because everyone has their own story. Yes, Bryant Beaver was a talented athlete. Yes, he screwed up and raped a CHILD, which he will always have consequences for. Do I feel sorry for him? Maybe in some small aspect I do. BUT I have to remind MYSELF as it seems I do with everyone else too. HE RAPED ME! IT IS NOT MY FAULT! The life he lives now IS because of what he DID.

Go ahead and say what you would like to say, or believe what you would like to believe. I am just glad I have found this and that I was able to put in my say. I would LOVE for MY story to be out there but it probably NEVER will because Bryant Beaver is apparently the most important person in this story based on his loss of an amazing opportunity.

I was able to move on, for the most part, and I will continue to grow and move forward with my life. I hope that this helps someone have the courage to take a small stand just as I have done.
