One of my new pre-game "traditions" is to get to SF early enough to go to the Ferry Building Peets before going to the ballpark.

It's a bit of a walk, but as long as you have enough time to enjoy a stroll (and it's not freakin' RAINING,emoticon), it's not bad at all.

got [sign in to see URL] building peets

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

Of course, it's not much of a "tradition" if i only make 3 or 4 games a year.

But you get the idea

True. It's a really nice one, too. I wouldn't mind working at that one. Seems like a great location.

That one's the nearest one to the ballpark, and I'm sure as hell not gonna hit up a Starbucks. Even though you can see the park from the nearest one (maybe even two) of them.

Aside from the Giants playing like crap, life is AWESOME!!!

Friends are great, work is good (except for minor issues I hope are resolved), and school is out for the summer.

Plus someone likes me emoticon (intentional use of junior high phraseology)

Only thing that would make things better would be seeing the Giants put some W's on the board. and some DFA's next to players' names... But i'm not gonna dwell on those emoticon

Re: IanRogue

Well, might as well post some updates about myself, just in case anyone's bored enough to read about someone who hasn't posted here in a little over a loooooong time.

First off, I no longer work at Peet's. As good as the coffee and tea is, I was fed up with corporate's methods of draining the life of the Los Altos store's employees. Besides, a better opportunity opened up for me at a music store, which is much more up my alley. I still go to Peet's for coffee or tea, but my employment there is no more. At the music store, I've advanced really quickly, and I'm a perfect fit for the place, according to the owner. I really like it here, and am glad to have been given the opportunity.

Still following the Giants, hoping they'll be better this time around. Still checking the headlines every day, hoping to see they've signed some new great player.
