Warriors=Kings of 1999 (but better...)
Win or lose tomorrow, the Warriors have had the most successful season in 10 years. And they will be reaping the benefits of this playoff run for the next couple years.
Remember the Kings in the strike year of '99? They barely sneaked into the playoffs and played and very excited 5 game series against Utah (coincidence?). the Kings were the exciting fast paced team that everyone wanted to root for, and they were rewarding greatly by the NBA. The following two years they had the most national broadcast games besides the Lakers. It increased their revenue and allowed kept a good team around for the next 7-8 years.
I will not be suprised if the Warriors fantastic performance and upset of the Mavs will yield a Christmas game and handful of Saturday/Sunday ESPN games. Their merchandise sales will increase (along with ticket prices), but it gives them an opportunity to improve upon this year.
I just hope the Warriors can stay on top longer than the Kings did. The Kings got greedy and ran themselves into the basement. GS has a real fan base, not the bandwagon following the Kings developed. half their fans in 2000 didn't even know who Bobby Hurley was!

They are never going to win 61 games, and eight years is a long time.
