Mondo looked pretty sharp. Why is everyone so cynical after two games?

I nominate Taschner for the Jerk. And a tip of the cap to Barry, Armando, and Cain

One positive I got from today's game is that we hit a lot of balls very hard, but they just never found holes.

Nice pitching by Matt Cain for the most [sign in to see URL] rough inning but threw some serious heat emoticon

Bonds looked [sign in to see URL], good [sign in to see URL] don't pull a hammy out there! emoticon

emoticon for the second night in a [sign in to see URL] offense. We could have easily won this game but left too many runners in scoring position. This team cannot afford to do [sign in to see URL] need to capitalize on every opportunity because pitching alone will not win games.

emoticon to Bochy for keeping Taschner out of the [sign in to see URL] in, garbage out

emoticon to Hennessey and even Mando for coming out of the bullpen and looking [sign in to see URL] glimmer of the silver lining was there.

Noah's turn [sign in to see URL]'t we OWN the Padres last year??? Time to turn it around and get some momentum for this weekend's series against LA emoticon

Free emoticon
Feliz - He tied the game up when we needed to get the game tied. He bailed out Cain in the loss column to help the kid with his confidence. Of course he also struck out.

emoticon Battery Throw:
Taschner - I am not sure why this guy was given a role. I haven't seen Jack (pun intended) from this guy in two years.

emoticon Cheers:
Bonds - I didn't give you gameball because frankly there are going to be plenty of HRs that net you the GB. Instead, I look at the fact that you didn't help the team at all in the 7th when we needed a baserunner.

emoticon Curse:
I hate to do it, but I had to. Cain, your stuff is great. You are the real ace of the staff. Still, when you give up 2 HR in an inning I must think that at least one was a mental lapse.

A competitor will find a way to win. Competitors take bad breaks and drive themselves just that much harder. Quitters take bad breaks and use them as excuses to give up. It’s all a matter of pride. - W. Churchill
