Worst Opening Day Ever

The highlights, my Cha Cha bowl and the flyover. 7-0? 7-0? Really? I can't remember being at too many Opening Day home losses, but this was far and away the worst one I've been to.

Really a shame, beautiful day, great ceremonies, and then the game started and ruined it all.

1 of 162, so need to panic, and I will slap anyone who [sign in to see URL] 7-0 on Opening Day? That hurt my feelings and was just plain mean.

Re: Worst Opening Day Ever

my second opening [sign in to see URL] the pregame ceremony was ruined by dumb asses that were yelling "go giants" and making noise during the moment of [sign in to see URL] the flyover sort of started a little early when they started to remember those that passed away. [sign in to see URL] think that's the bad juju of the day...

i enjoyed seeing all the all stars and even though there were some that are now dodgers we could have [sign in to see URL] are erasing them from giants history...

---
Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

The game sucked, the pre-game stuff I loved. Especially nice to see the guys of childhood like Clark, Thompson, Williams, Mitchell, etc.

The first opening day loss since the Kevin Elster game that opened the park....

Wasnt there for that one, but I have made the last 4.... and this was my first loss....

While it is only one game, today was much like the past few years. When you are hoping that will change, an opening day that like that can be very dissapointing.

With that said, a win tomorrow and things are looking up.

I would agree today's game was not a big deal though despite the poor performance. 161 to go.

we all feel the disapointment b/c we have anticipated this day since last [sign in to see URL] it does feel like a letdown. But no one here is [sign in to see URL]'s one [sign in to see URL] all realize.

I do think tonight it going to be a different [sign in to see URL] to watch Cain. Thinking maybe even a few extra base hits...

It was my first miss in a long time, the Mrs blames me for the loss ("They never lose when I go, especially on OD").
Shitty game.
I wish I was going to see Cain tonight but hopefully Mrs Sayhey's luck will help Morris on Thursday [sign in to see URL] going Thursday?

I haven't been to enough M. Morris starts at the yard to think I bring him [sign in to see URL] is the one pitcher I try to schedule around. Like when my dad would take me to [sign in to see URL] seemed as though Mike La"Loss" was pitching. [sign in to see URL] only Morris game I have ever gone to they [sign in to see URL] was the game when he hit the 2 run [sign in to see URL] had only given up one run and Alou put Sweeney on the on deck circle to make it look as though he would pinch hit for Morris (so they didn't intentionally walk the #8 hitter). I just remember going [sign in to see URL] and Kuip even mentioned me on the post [sign in to see URL] was sweet.

Morris might have been a factor in me being able to get four tickets in 103 for face value from [sign in to see URL]. Did I overpay at face+surcharge?

I kid, I am happy to be going. Hopefully the Giants offense will do well against Hensley.

I have a friend who used to somehow end up with tickets to every Gardner start.

I wish Morris the best, he isn't goign anywhere, including the bullpen so the egInats need him to bounce back.
