So glad I didn't make it to the yard today. I don't think I could have taken it in person.

The game itself sucked, but I won't go as far as to say that I wish I wasn't there for Opening day.
Hanging with Merk, Monkey, Croix, Old Dad and the gang while they all were tailgating -- and seeing Kevin Mitchell, Nuschler, " One cap flap back Pac" , Matt Williams, McCovey, the say hey Kid, the Dominican Dandy, the spitballer Perry , Robbie Thompson and the rest of the All Stars and old HOF players would have been pretty cool .

But yeah,-- my wallet isn't complaining about staying home !

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

Looking forward to seeing your pics, Merk's pics, and Croix's pics of the stadium--- and the players - past and present.

I about died laughing when I saw Hacman, with his one flap back ( and down) cap.

Seeing Willie McCovey again with those crutches just made me feel sad -- even though I knew he has been that way for quite awhile.

The TV coverage was pretty good overall, except for that Clammy Halfbaked lady.

She is really annoying.
Really , really, REALLY annoying.
