I disagree. His ERA was way out of line with his peripherals last season. He's not an ace anymore, but, if healthy, he's still worth getting (if only because it's a one-year commitment). Still, if Rotoworld is correct and the D-Backs are offering three players and an extension, there's really no point. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Bhaakon)Mon, 25 Dec 2006 22:59:47 +0000 https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388656,from=rss#post388656https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388656,from=rss#post388656I fear they would have to give up a few good prospects and eat the majority of his contract. If that was the case it would be a horrible move. Not to mention, trading for another guy at the end of his career would not exactly be a welcome move.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Cain43)Mon, 25 Dec 2006 22:32:06 +0000 Re: Big Ugly?https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388655,from=rss#post388655https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388655,from=rss#post388655why, hes not even good anymore.nondisclosed_email@example.com (FATALFART)Mon, 25 Dec 2006 22:23:47 +0000 https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388654,from=rss#post388654https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388654,from=rss#post388654Better than throwing 6 years at Zito. As long as the Giants don't give up any actual prospects, anyway. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Bhaakon)Mon, 25 Dec 2006 21:27:43 +0000 Big Ugly?https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388653,from=rss#post388653https://boardsfgiantsfans.runboard.com/p388653,from=rss#post388653A rumor the Giants might pursue Randy Johnson. Jeez, I hope the Giants don't try to get him. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/jon_heyman/12/25/yankees.johnson.zito/nondisclosed_email@example.com (JKGiants)Mon, 25 Dec 2006 20:57:10 +0000
