SHK, true, true. I think he would do better but maybe not as much better as how much larger his paycheck is.
I'm down to let 2 of those 3 start, a ST battle royale of course.
So then is that the rotation?
Morris
Cain
Lowry
Sanchez
Correia
Hennessey
Um... not too great. Though for me it's Morris that irks me the most.

I would go with a five man rotation with Hennessy and Correia fighting for the last spot.
I think that they all could do better than 5 ERA Weaver.
High 4 ERA pitchers go for $11 million per year this year, no thanks.

I need to remember what Meche signed for. And, if I do that... then eff all the FA pitchers, unless Zito really likes the Bay Area (read: discount).

Sorry Jobu but I have to take it a step further and add Paul Wilson, Bruce Chen and David Wells to that list.
Oh joy!
"At the end of the day" the rotation probably will look like this:
Cain
Morris
Lowry
Ortiz/Oliver/Chen/Wilson/Wells/pure garbage
Hennessey/Sanchez/Correia
Looks like a championship rotation to me!
Just sayin'

Why not Weaver?
But really, Why Weaver? He's a headcase and he's not even a lefthander. I'm not convinced that just because he kept it together in the postseason he'll continue to do so. He's too prone to whining for my taste.

Why not Weaver?
Oh, I'm not suggesting that the Giants need to acquire a left-hander, just saying that he doesn't even have the excuse of being a lefthander, being a headcase and all...
