Warriors thread

Doesn't anyone around here like the Warriors? Or maybe you don't like them all the time, but still follow them. Although after last's night's game...

Warriors are my favorite NBA team, I just love this team, except for something that happened earlier in 2006...

Seriously? They drive me crazy, but every year I have hope, at least to start the season.

What happened earlier in 2006?

Yesterday was ugly........

The warriors are my favorite team, but they disappoint me every year. They've showed some improvement this year, but can't that clutch shot in the final minute, and can't close out quarters strong.

Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins are young studs.

Yeah, I still love them

They cut a close friend of mine, Will Bynum was his name.

They are my favorite team as well. I used to watch with my son when he was young, but now that he is a teen, he prefers the (ugh) Lakers. My husband is a Timberwolves fan so I often have to watch the Warriors by myself. S'okay. But, my dogs like the Warriors, so they watch with me.

How's your friend like playing for the Maccabi Tel Aviv?

And yes, Biedrins and Ellis are young studs! What's with the pronunciation of Biedrins name? Is it really supposed to be pronounced Bee-drich, as Bob Fitzgerald says (most of the time, but not always). When the Warriors had that national telecast one of the commentators kept saying Bee-a-drich and I just thought he was wacko, but maybe there is a "ch" sound? Certainly I don't know any Latvian.

It is pronounced: AHN-dris BE-a-drinsh He's my favorite player.

I don't know how they beat the Jazz and then the Spurs at home but the go on the road and get their asses wooped. They are very inconsistant. With J-Rich and Diogu both injured and Baron playing like crap, this won't be a good road trip.

Thanks for the clarification on Biedrins name.

I missed the game last night. Guess that's a good thing. Sounds awful. I suppose O'Bryant played in the meaningless 4th quarter? How did he look anyway? Anyone see?
