Re: For the ultimate baseball fan

During the era of Humm Baby, I told Teh Spousal Unit that I wanted my ashes released in the upper deck of Candlestick during a night game, so they'd never hit the ground.

She said sure, she'd agree to my face, but after I was dead she was going to dump my ashes in the trash can instead, because she was damned if she was going to cross the country to go to a freezing cold Candlestick night game without me.

A rank sentimentalist, that woman.

Merkin, Someday, you should check out the ]Columbarium in SF.

There's a couple of Giants fans in there with similar resting places. One even had his niche painted to show the stands at Candlestick, with friends and celebrities all in the seats around him

Cool, thanks...
I'll be hanging in that neighboorhood this offseason anyways
Will add that to the list of "baseball" stuff I can do during the offseason...

I'm going stipulate that I be cremated, and have half my ashes dumped into that onion-chopper dispenser thing they have near the hot dogs at the condiment table at Pac Bell/SBC/ATT.

I will pay James McEachin handsomely to bind Greg Papa to a chair, and then blow the other half of my ashes in his face.

Hamels started toward the dugout after what he thought was a strike. Lincecum didn't get the call & buzzed ump Dana DeMuth w. a fastball that slammed off the backstop & then froze Hamels w. another 3rd strike. 4/28/10 Timmy the ump killer.

No ashes for me. I plan on leaving nothing left to bury.
