Scott !@#$ Spezio

The famous philosopher and poet George Santayana once said:

quote:

Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

And last night was no exception. There is an intersting post along those lines over at JP's blog on last nights seventh inning knock by Scott !@#$ Spezio that tied the game for the Cardinals, on the way to their comeback victory:

I was watching teh horror of Game Six unfold at a bar named the Plough and Stars down in the Richmond on Clement that fateful day, and there was no sound on to hear McCarver's prophetic commentary, so I'll take John at his word. As much as I despise McCarver in the booth, I have to give him props for his observations, and perhaps the Mets will learn from this going forward. If not . . . well, what George said.

On a side note, while most of the mules have seen me link JP's blog, if any of you regs cross over to read this, give it a try. JP took some time off for a while, but appears to be back post on a semi-regular basis. His steroid coverage archived over the years, is unmatched by most bloggers and reporters IMO.

Anway Enjoy.

Oh and !@#$ Scott Spezio.

WTF else was Felix supposed to do?

  Throw his killer hanging slider?

Suppose he could have tried the other side of the plate.

[sign in to see URL] out to the Doggie game. Could get ugly.

Wolves are out in full force for the QB and Hill.

Ugly is an understatement. Just picked up the score 55-23 in the thrid.

Ouch.

Hill better run for the hills.

JP has a pretty good spot merk. He took some time off for a while, but seems to be back now. Grant and lefty both have spots I like to read as well.
