Doyle can have a ball I had autographed by Jerome Williams & Merkin Valdez in Scottsdale a few years ago. Methinks both are destined to ride the bus in the minor leagues for the next decade.

What an honor. It is truly great to be young and a Giant.

As for the prizes:

1. The Roanoke-related list omits Virginia Squires gear. They played two games a year in Roanoke during the early 1970s.

2. My son has a #7 Giants jersey signed by Marvin Benard, so Benard baseball cards would be kind of a letdown.

I'll see what I can do to live up to the title of #100 on this august board.

I've been unable to stop listening to a CD I found while cleaning out my office---Teh Best of [sign in to see URL] what an under-rated band they were. Every song on this collection is great. And only one member survives. Two hangings and teh cancer. Just Joey Molland left.
