I was more of a reader than a poster at ESPN, but since I referred to the former board for 4-5 years for Giants news, commentary and general amusement, I thought I'd follow the rest of the emigrants.

Cheers

Just made the conversion. I tend to chime in from time to time. I mainly count on you guys for comedic relief throughout my work day. Balzac's "A Few Good Men" spoof is still one of the funniest damn things I've ever read.

OK, I'm in. I will miss the ESPN board denizens, but if the mules and HF's are here, where else would a self-respecting Giants fan be? Even Brute crossed over.

Hey guys. Longtime lurker from the ESPN boards, and was inspired by the mass exodus to turn over a new leaf and make myself known.

I posted a few times over on ESPN under the handle mgdg, but like I said that was very rarely. I've been a Giants fan my whole life, but really only a diehard since the pain that was 2002. I'm an out of market fan from St. Louis, but don't hold it against me because after the bums and A's, the Cards are easily my most hated team.

Anyway, here's looking forward to a lot of good old fashioned baseball talk.

--Go Giants!

Another mostly silent board reader who has followed you all over here. The emoticons are a bit dizzying, but I understand you can use the quick reply function to avoid them.

Imagine my suprise when I make my monthly appearence over at ESPN board and find a For Lease sign up, a couple of broken folding chairs, an old finger dial phone and a 15 day old donut are all that is left.

I yelled out trying to see if anyone was around and eventually a person came out of the back room, but he was from the WNBA board and I couldnt understand a word he said. I said "I am looking for the Giants Board, where is it?" All I could I get out of him was Sue Bird is going to be great this year.

"No, you don't understand, Giants Board.. G I A N T S Board. Where is the Giants Board?"

"I am looking forward to seeing how Takisha RippedAcl does this year"

"What?, I dont understand? Giants.... Oh forget it..."

"Mr Man... Mr Man..."

"Yes?"

Then he points to a post it note on the front door! I am saved.
