Ducks have had a cakewalk of a schedule to start the season. 7 of 9 games at home and the two "road" games being LA and Phoenix. Dallas is tough as well but we showed we can beat them.

Hope they win plenty of division games.

Dallas is in the division so the Sharks will face them 7 more times. 4 in Dallas and 3 in SJ.

Sharks will be more than [sign in to see URL] are easily a top 10 team in the entire league, arguably a top 5.

the entire west is tough this year. it's possible the 8th seed in the west will be better than the 3-5 seeds in the east. but at least we'll be well prepared and well tested

You gotta have more faith in that team. They will go deep in the 'offs. emoticon

San Jose Sharks Thread

The way they went out last year was disheartening. With all the top seeds going down in the 1st round it was all perfectly set up for the Sharks. Home ice throughout the WCF finals and a 2-0 lead against Edmonton. I thought for sure they would at least be in the Stanley Cup Finals. Hopefully that experience will make them even hungrier for a title run this year.

The experience will certainly help but they also addressed some of their shortcomings by getting bigger and more physical this year.

I don't like the changes Ron Wilson has made to the lineup the last few games. No way should Cheechoo be on the 3rd line, he needs a good assist man to maximize his shooting ability. Marleau needs speed on his line and instead he has two grinders with Bernier and Bell. The original line-up wasn't given much time to stick despite their early success. Hopefully, we'll see that lineup return.
